Whether it’s reading novels, short stories, poetry or comics, playing sports, video games, or attending dance or comedy performances, engaging in visual art, or going to concerts or musicals, entertainment is an experience that takes us into the next world in a state of euphoria. It can be as base as dogfighting or as sophisticated as a ballet performance, but it’s essentially something that gives you pleasure and makes you forget about your daily troubles.
